Curiosity killed the cat and may kill my wallet, I’m doing the flush this weekend hopefully that will solve my problems.

Yeah, I'm dead and my wallet is toast!
I did the tranny flush when I started to get the same symptoms as 98MikeXimaSE but that didn't drive the problems away for me. What a waste of brand new Castrol Synth oil but I had to get the rebuild done. I've been told I needed a new torque converter and impeller/pump. I'm getting my car back after work today hopefully and I'll be able to lay out more details for you fellow autotragics.

I'll let you know later if my mobiltek vb mod was salvagable or not.

OMG I so wish my tranny would just shatter 2nd gear, fall out of the bottom of my car and into a creek only to get dragged accidently by a speed boat to the lake in which it will gather a lot of rust, dirt, and other crap in Lake Lanier. Afterward it would have to fall down the dam into the Chat. River and out the Gulf of Mexico.

Well to simplify everything ... I want a 5 Spd swap.

Ok, I got a new torque converter, pump assembly and solenoid set and the Mobiletek vb mod still works. The shop showed me the old parts and the band was just black and wasted when compared with another band and some thin spots were showing also. One gear was getting chewed and lots of score marks on other pieces as well. Now the tranny feels so much better. The owner of the shop even offered free labour on installation if I went out and got a replacement for the Mobiltek. That was pretty cool.

because i dont have much money, ones that i can buy
have fairly high mileage.
So to the point, if i get a car around 120,000miles, would that car be really slow and stuff, or not much different from a 70k miler
Thx guyz
