Tein S Tech Springs..Impressions? Anyone have them matched with AGX's?

I am looking to get Tein S Tech springs to match up with my current AGX's. Im looking for a nice looking drop on 17's and a comfortable ride. I want to know what you guys who have them, think of the ride quality? Are the comfortable? How do they compare to H&R's? The drop is fuppose to be 2.2"F and 1.8"R, how did yours turn out? Pics would be great! Im just overall looking for the next most comfortable spring, besides H&R's because I want a lower drop then the H&R's. Let me know what you think of them, All help is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

-Nick

i've had them matched up to gr2's for about a week now and they ride better then i would have imagined not to mention the drop looks sweet. i can def feel the road more but thats about it. not rough at all and def not bouncy. sticks very well to turns and the road over bumps. i def recommend these springs.

I just put mine one two days ago. The springs are def. worth it IMHO. The drop is perfect and the ride quality didnt suffer much different from my previous setup [tokico springs]. Your gonna have to IM me for pics tho.

Yep.. I recommend them, almost only for looks. I've only had them for a day, I can feel the road a little more than with my tokico springs, but for me it's worth it. Handling wise I don't have any complaints. My gap of a little over 3 fingers in the front just didn't cut it with my tokicos.

What kind of finger gap are we talking here? And what size wheels are you riding with them? Also, in comparison to the stock suspension..How is the ride of these? I really just want a very comfortable good looking spring..

Thanks,

-Nick

I'm on s-tech and AGX, the ride is definitely stiffer than stock (obviously) but it's not bad. The only time it really bothers me is on a horrible road with potholes everywhere, and then it feels like your car is being ripped apart. I recommend the springs, although if you get a stillen kit with these springs and live in the city BE CAREFUL! you WILL scrape-- though i never had a problem with scraping before I got the kit.... I have pics of the drop on the link on my profile and at www.cardomain.com/id/maxima99sebose

old school pic from the day after I dropped it----

Maxima99SE- What are your setting on your AGX's? What is the ride like on the highway? Rougly how much finger gap do you have? And did the springs settle nice and level(front/rear)?

Thanks,

-Nick

on the highways around here we have a lot of cracks and potholes so it sucks, but when I went to jacksonville FL where the interstates were nice and smooth, it was a very nice ride... my AGX are set on 1/1... 4/8 is unbearable. If I remember correctly I have a 2 finger gap up front and about a 3 finger gap out back

How are just the cracks? I have alot of cracks on the highways by me, but very few potholes.. Alot of dips in the road here, how are the dips? You say it is unbearable at 4/8.. Is it the front thats real stiff or rear? Could you explain how unbearable it is? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I make a good choice as far as comfort goes..

Thanks,

-Nick

I have this combo. the ride is alright, but after about a year on this setup, i'm getting rid of the AGX's in favor of Illuminas. The ride is not bad on smooth roads, but rough roads feel pretty bad. the springs are great and it took about 3-5 days to settle fully. the max looks great in motion with these springs! well the cracks aren't too bad... feels like just a little bump... but it gets annoying very quickly considering we have soooo many... georgia DOT blows...
