CD Player problem

Hello,

I dont know why but my cd player has always been seeming to act up on me!
Its getting quite irritating. I dont want to purchase another headunit because I want to maintain the factory appereance, but its getting irritating.

1) When trying to skip from track 1-6, it will take a whileto go to 6 andthen once it finally does it will start like 10 seconds into the track.

2) Will skip

3) Sometimes when switching from track 1- 10 it will instead of going 10 switch to another track

Im hopinh someone can tellmeif there is any way to fix this

the skipping and the slow seek time are related.. it's the optical pickup assembly. just get a new headunit. you'll save yourself alot of headaches. in most cases repair is not worth it...

by the way, for future reference, posts like this should go in the "audio and electronics" forum
