If your speedo is still working fine, I doubt the speed sensor is the problem.

what do you mean by odometer sticks? Is it stuck stuck, or does it miss some miles here and there? Does your speedometer still work right? Does your tripometer work?

Lately after a few miles it misses some miles here and there. speedo is good...tachometer fine....just odometer "sticks" ...dont wanna spend big $$ on a calibrated cluster

odometer and tripometer stick at same time

The speed sesnor is not going to help. You may want to open the cluster and blow out the odo mechanism with some compressed air.

the more searching .........this seems more common than usual...... one guy tried air and the other soaked the cluster in some penetrating oil to no avail.....ebay looks scarce I dont wanna F* up my mileage any more...

where is the speedsensor anyway? its only 20.40 I can always try it

if you remove your stock intake up to the throttle body, and look down in that area just past the fuel filter, you'll see a thin white tube. that tube (which may be dirty from years of driving) connects the speed sensor to it's harness. it's not too hard to spot so just look down there and you'll find it.

however i don't think that sounds like your speed sensor, i'd get a new cluster and replace that part if i were you by swapping it. but that's your call...

dont waste your money on a new speed sensor cus thats not gonna fix anything. go to nissan and buy a speedo head for your cluster.
