Yep usually it is. But when I had my mechanic (a hommie) check the mounts several months ago, they are not in excellent condition but they aren't bad either. Well not yet at least. I don't really care to do burn-outs but during the times when I'd launch aggressively, the wheel hop don't usually occur.

 

Nice video. BTW, the driver-side, inner bulb blew a filament. When you stepped on the brakes, it didn't light up. And you should also try to do one in DRY pavement. Because on that video, the pavement ain't dry. Looked like it had been raining or something, plus there are loose soil everywhere. Still, a cool burnout indeed.

Look again....I didn't say its totally out. I said a filament blew, the bulb has 2 filaments so the park light works. When he stepped on the brakes, the bulb didn't light up brighter as they all should. Even on the other thread where the video came from, he admitted that the bulb is out!

At least it wasn't in the dark like vid that was posted on here the other day. It was basically a sound clip of a stock sounding maxima.

i'm not a fan of burnouts either nor would I ruin my Max for one, but to each one's own .. i give you some credit for being creative, but i'll have to agree, it could've been a better burnout tho.

I still don't understand the purpose of burnouts- what good can come of it? I love and respect my max. It almost makes me think that they don't deserve to have a max. I mean, its no bentley, but if people are going to abuse a car, why not abuse a corolla or something? Even then, it is just plain being destructive. I expect that from young children. Not from adults. To each their own. Maxine takes car of me so I take care of her. I guess we all enjoy our cars in different ways. Me? I'd rather be detailing ...Damn snow.

 

Mine was just for fun to burn up old tires and an old clutch ;P

Put some sparkles in em or something like baughb's vid. His was very entertaining everything from the smoke show to the incredible dialogue.

 

Ive been askin for other vids, but no one is showin im makin a max vid with maxs in action racin and drivin and such but with little help from orgers. ceasarchariot is hookin me up with some vid sbut noone on here has yet. dont know how many times i need to ask. and i know that video sucked because it wasnt a real video camera it was a digital camera for pictures, the video is an extra feature, i will make one with a good camera today!

 

man, i wish i had a way to upload movies to my computer cause i've got some racing vids with my max. don't have the right equipment to upload though.
