Problem changing spark plugs...need help!
I was changing the plugs yesterday and when I pulled the number 4 coil out the boot that connects to the spark plug stayed attached to the plug. I can't seem to get it out, and therefore couldn't change one of the plugs. I put it back together, and obviously it is not making good contact with the boot and plug and I am hesitating at low speeds now.
What can I do to get the boot of the spark plug so I can change it?
Thanks in advance.

It is stuck in there, and I cant get anything down in there to grab it and get it out.
Obviously I cant get the spark plug out either, as the boot goes around the thread.
I am freaking out now, since I can't really drive it like it is.

did the boot break?... or is the boot just stuck on the plug?... Boot as in the black rubber part... It would come off with a good tug. If the boot broke and part of it is still stuck on the spark plug... then you'd might want to have a mechanic pull that baby off.
ok its in the rear...therefore it is hard to reach.
The boot (boot meaning the part of the rubber that wraps around the spark plug, not the whole rubber shaft) didnt break, it is just stuck in there around the spark plug.
I bought surgical forceps and they arent even long enough.
I thought about super gluing the end of the rubber shaft that connects to the boot, and than trying to pull it out after it dries.
Nissan says that when this happens its usually a result of oil getting in there (likely from a valve cover gasket?)
since its only rubber, super glue won't do any harm right?
Thanks for the suggestions

If its really hard to reach it must have broken apart and got stuck down there. I would try your local auto parts store and pick up one of those grabber things that are used to pull things out of small areas. If that doesn't work you can try the super glue but i would try some other things first. You could bring it to a mechanic and im sure they would have something for you but it will cost you.
I had this exact thing happen to a fellow NWMaxima.com member....
We just bought these really long stork pliers (about 9" long) and got it out pretty easily.
