well, i think everything over 1.8 drop in the front will need the camber kit.
we got 4 4th gen maxima's in my garage. two of them are dropped. one is with aerospeed/tokico blue 2" even drop combo. the other is h&r/kyb gr2 1.8" even drop combo. the 2" aerospeed dropped car cannot get aligned correctly. it need an addtional adjustment of about 1.3 degrees. the 1.8" h&r drop aligns correctly and had no problems. we just recently bought the tein s tech / tokico blues, and we also bought the eibach camber kit to install along.
i can assure you that you are going to need the camber kit to do the alignment after the tein s tech drop. take my word for it...

Guess I got lucky. Tein S Tech with KYB AGX-front & GR-2 in rear. I never got camber bolts because it is so hard to find someone to a good alignment. I live in Snellville. 20K later tires are slightly more worn on the inside but definetely acceptable.

my car is really really low right now with the Tein Coilovers, and i took it to the guy who does my alignment, and he aligned it to specs without having any camber kits.
i've been driving on 235/40/17's for about 2 years now and im guessing that i may be able to squeeze another year out of my tires. I drive about 12-13k a year. =)

well, for those who got lucky to get within specs, congrats. but seriously, do yourself a favor getting a camber kit to make sure everything to be within the specs in the least tolerance level. mine was off 1.3 degrees and the guys tinkered with it so much and it was still impossible to correct it. the camber adjustment never drop to green from the red zones. camber kit will assure you to fix the problem, why not?
also, it appeared to me that guys with kyb struts are having less alignment problem than those with tokico's. is there really a difference? we need to find out for sure. my brother's max with a 1.8" drop and kyb gr2 combo does it just right. he said his alignment was done good and within specs. hm, that makes me wonder.

well the shop where i got my alignment done, he is always doing race cars on weekends and basic cars on weekdays, and trust me, this shop knows what they are doing. All my friends get their cars aligned there and he does a great job. I guess it all depends on who you take it to get it aligned, but all i can say is that my tires are all worn evenly and i have been riding on them for a while now.

hmmm thats weird...I have AGX w/sprints. And its almost been one year and I have lots of tread left and its wearing evenly. I should have atleast another
1 year on these tires. Never knew u needed a chamber kit for 2" drop. Oh well...

Well I must have been lucky too..... -1.0 and -.9 with KYB and AGX setup.... when I installed the suspension..... I pulled down on the hub as I tightened the bolts thru the struts.... doing that ensured all the slack in the bolt holes were set to the positive side of the camber curve.... I put the car on the alignment rack and set the toe... drove the car 2-3 weeks and rechecked the alignment..... everything was still good

What are our options for camber kits/plates/bolts? I know Stillen makes some overprices plates, but would that correct our problem? I have a set of camber bolts here (never installed) to pair up with my Tokico/Sprints. I recently bought Tein Basic damper coilovers and will be installing them within a month along with 19x8.5" wheels. So my question is.....with my new suspension setup will I need a camber kit and if so what kind? Any input is welcome.

well personaly i mean im on 18's and sprints and i dont use any chamber kits. But if you got tein coilovers and ur gonna drop lower then 2" then id get a chamber kit. If your installing tein coilovers get a tein chamber kit.

i don't know who manufacture these camber kits out there, but recently i just bought two sets of eibach camber adjustment kit from the ebay auctions. when they arrive, i'll let you guys know how are they.
the two eibach kits cost me a total of around 60 dollars shipped. i think this is a good deal...

Go to http://maxmods.dyndns.org and check out the Camber kits that they have in the suspension section. Look into the Ingalls camber kit. It's a 4-bolt kit that adjusts up to 2.00 degrees. That's all you need, and it's only 50 bucks shipped.
