MEVI install- where to get ECU wiring harness?
Hey all. Finally got my MEVI installed this weekend, after about 3 weekends at about 2-3 hours per weekend. Had a vacuum leak that turned out to be the lack of an IAC assembly gasket (there wasn't one there to begin with?, and the one other time I had it off previously to clean it out, it mated perfectly to the manifold I had on there...)
Anyway, to the point- I haven't got the thing wired up yet. I picked up a setup with everything hosed together and wired together (thanks, 95stillenmax!). I just need to wire the RPM switch to an RPM signal wire. My two options, as I've searched on, is to wire it to the screw behind the tach, or to splice into the ECU wiring harness and get at the white wire with green stripes. I'd rather not mess with getting behind the gauge cluster, and wiring through the firewall. Does the ECU wiring harness appear somewhere in the engine bay? I can't tell by looking, nor have I found anything by searching the forums. Haynes didn't tell me anything either.
Thanks for your help! Can't wait to get this thing running!
