What intake brand should I buy for my 97 Max? I'm not talking Place Racing type dollars where its more than 160..something cheap & good . I checked ebay, seen alot of Bomz Racing Intakes, anyone have experience with them, are they good? make alot of noise? Thanks for reading and responding

 

read the faq you can DIY it is called the hacked air box mod and the oscai. Cold air intake is basically for sound not power b/c of it's minumal hp increase. So get out your dremel or hacksaw and have fun!!

 

There's nothing wrong with the bombz intake. Just get a K&N filter and it'll be all good. Or you can do what maxxedout said. It depends on what you want.

 

i hate it how most people saw that all CAIs' suck. i have a bomz CAI and despite wht people said about it, i tend to like it. you get sound improvements, remarks from people, plus i'm sure the performance diff from the stock is minimal.
