Tryin to make a decision

ok i wanna do a few mods that would be good to the car and also look good
1:Suspension
2:wheels 17's or 18's
3:JWT ecu upgrade
4:stillen kit
5:Ceifro headlights
6:Front seats redone

which would be the best to get now and the rest done slowly
just want some other geniuses opinions

I would do them in this order...

1. Wheels (these always make the most difference in appearance)(size depends on what kind of look and what kind of comfort you are looking for. its all personal taste)
2. Front Seats Redone (no one likes to ride on bad seats)
3. Stillen Kit (will give you a look of lowness)
4. Suspension (choose wisely, too low will cause problems with your stillen kit)
5. JWT ecu upgrade ( you got the look, get the speed)
6. Cefiro headlights (these look sweet, but these come with a gap problem for the max)

good luck with the mods...

first and foremost should be the suspension. A kyb and spring combo. I think bigger wheels dont look nearly as good as they should on the stock 4x4 suspension the maxima has. Go with suspension, then wheels, then stillen kit.

1) JWT ECU. If you have a spare ecu, then your golden. It will take a LONG *** time to get this so you should get the waiting ball rolling
2) Suspension
3) Wheels (don't forget to upgrade your tires!)
4) Seats...
5) The rest is up to you.

if i were to do my cars all over again with the things you listed above:

1- seats- if there that bad, take care of them now if there ripped or torn. no sense in trying to make the car look nicer outside when it looks like a P.O.S inside. if your just looking to change them for racing seats, or some custom kinda thing, and theres nothing wrong with the original leather, do these after you finish the outside then.

2- suspension- next pick springs, and DEFINATELY get the tokico illuminas. i have kyb's gr2's, they suck, i dont care what anybody says. get use to the ride like this with the stock rims/tires. see how you like it, and how much harder your willing to let it get. this will give you a feel as how much stiffer you ride is going to be, and may be the deciding factor when you choose a wheel/tire size. (i just downgraded from 18's cause they kept bending with the harsh ride). it would really suck to spend alot of money of big rims and tires, and see them get ruined from your new suspension if you wind up going real low. if you havent already gotten strut braces, i say your better investment would be to go for a sfc kit. i had all the strut bars on my old car, lowered, 18's and the long term effects of it: a dramitic increase in cabin twisting, alot of rattles, and a horrible ride. my thoughts now are, stiffen the cabin, it increases handling, and driver comfort at the same time. i say let the suspension do its job. why transfer all the stress into the cabin.. the ride on my old max was horrible, to the point that anyone that was driven in the car would comment as to how hard the ride was. honestly, it was embarassing. do what you can to keep it comfortable, or youll have a nice car that you hate driving everyday.

3 - wheels- once your lowered, youll have a better idea on how big you wanna go. your rim/tire size combo will have much more drastic effects on your ride once your alreay lowered. you may decided not to go so big after all.

4- stillen kit - youve invested alot of money making the car look alot nicer, nows the time to put the icing on the cake. do this after the other two, cause you'll know how much gound clearence you have to spare once your lowered and have a rim/tire size combo. why take a chance of doing this before the other two, and wind up ripping them off cause u cant make it up your own driveway..besides, a body kit on a car with stock rims, and a stock height, just looks dumb.

5- headlights- you started on the appearence, finish it.. dont jump around from one project to another, nothing will ever get done. doing performance mods might give you a few min of joy when drive around, the good looks is something you'll appreciate everytime you , and everyone else sees your car. good looks goes alot further than a few extra hp.

6- ecu upgrade- honestly, i wouldnt even bother doing this. for 700 bucks you can buy a complete exhaust and get more gains. i'd just get a y pipe and cat for starters. they make the most difference. b-pipe and muffler gains are minimal. the muffler might yeild you 1 or 2 actual hp. its more just for the look of the muffler, or sound. personally, i had a full stillen exhaust. ( spent like 1200 on everything) and i hated the way it sounded. like a friggin honda rice thing. it wasnt classy.. only reason i kept it was for the looks of the ss muffler.

KYB ride is horrible. Get either Koni or Illumina.
