ok, i got a CEL with the Code = 0505
meaning = No Failure Recorded/Detected

So i decide to reset the ecu.
it goes away but after 25 miles of driving, it appears again with same code.
i reset again and comes back on again.
What the heck is wrong? Does anyone know?

 

Your not pulling the code correctly. Your most likely clearing it before you get the ECU into diagnostic mode. I've made that same mistake myself.

 

uhmm....that's weird. i have gotten codes the same way im doing it right now. i actually triple checked it and it gave me the same code.
isnt it turn key to on position

turn it clockwise until it stops, wait about 2 seconds and turn it counter-clockwise and codes come out right?
