Those are just basic hella 3.25 inch or what ever size shrouds. i just painted them because the one was chrome and the other was black. i wasnt too happy with the idea at first until i was finished and i was amazed how well they came out.

Hi there....im a little confused with all this projector/HID stuff. Right now i currently have 7000K 9004 (low beam) HIDs in my stock headlights.

NOW....let's say i wanted to buy TSX projectors, or any other projectors from ebay and do a retrofit, what size bulbs would fit in there?? What is it ? Meaning, are they 9004, H4s? D2S, D2R? what the hell is all the difference???

ppl, correct me if i'm wrong...

for projectors you would get D2S bulbs.

D2R bulbs are for cars w/ stock HID setups w/o projectors like the 5th gens, old model 3.2TLs and I35s. D2R bulbs have a shield inside the actual bulb to cut the beam off. D2S bulbs DON'T have shields in the bulbs themselves but the projector that the bulb sits in gives it proper cut off.

As far as 9004 and H4s all i know is that they have different bases for different vehicles. i'm not certain if the actual bulb is different.

its called searching for one... this is not the only thread for projectors in a 4th gen... not to mention if you want to buy some you should probably look in the classifieds... you just bumped a 7 year old thread for no reason at all...

seek out the user named ChrisMan287 ... He is pretty well known for doing retrofits at a reasonable rate and turn around time... If his workload isnt too great im sure he can do it for you.

Now you dont need to reply to this thread!

Ive got those black JDM one piece headlights, what exactly would i need to retrofit angel eyes (two projectors per housing)? The bulb sizes are 9005 and 9006. Also how is the retrofitting process
