Help!!!!!
I hit a curb in my car on high speeds. I didn't hit it straight, but scratched my front right wheel (3 spokes on SE rims). Now when I drive on the highway, it makes a sound like a wheel bearing, but not loud and not constant. Its the same as clock but in a very fast way, i guess with every turn of the wheel.
My alignment is off, have to keep my wheel almost 1/3 of the way to the left to keep the car straight.
Also, my front wheel stands weird, the bottom of it is more inside while the top is sticking out. Just like this "\" but not to this extreme.
When my mechanic lifted a car and put it on drive, my wheel was spinning and making a small 8 just like on the bike.
He told me that my strut is bent by like .25 of an inch, and it makes the tire off by like almost 2 inches.
Oh yeah, he put that rim with tire on the balancing machine and it was spining straight. So its not a bent rim.
Could that be a strut?

Yeah, I was looking to lower this spring anyways. I'm going for Illuminas and H&Rs, but I just don't want any surprises.
Would those be the actual effects if a strut was bent slightly?
The ride of the car itself didn't change.

Check everything in the wheel well: Control arm, strut, steering knuckle, tie-rod...see what's bent.
If you raise that side and spin the wheel it wobbles? If so, it's not just the strut that's bent.

Yes it wobbles. We have cheked the rim and its not bent.
Mechanic thought it was a control arm, but then he looked at it and said no.
Nothing else looked like it was bent. Actually strut didn't look bent to me either so I don't know.

I would but every opinion is money Because you have to take a wheel off and so on.
I just wanted to know if a bent or bad strut could have effects like mine? Maybe somebody dealt with the same problem before.

The strut shouldn't make the wheel wobble when it spins freely. Maybe your hub is screwed. Is there any play in the wheel when it's jacked up? Secure the vehicle and try pushing and pulling on the wheel.
