use a lil elbow grease and some Mothers MAg/Aluminum polish and do it yourself. then when your done you look at your reflection in it, like me! it takes time but its well worth it and you can atleast say that you did it. my .02!

make sure when you sand stay in straight lines or else you will have some nasty marks in your finish that can be a bicth to get out. As for applying the polish its very easy, use a cotton cloth and start rubbing.
I started off with palmolive to cut the grease and dirt off the engine. Then i polished the motor and moved to wet-sanding and back to more polishing. It will take you some time to do this. Took me about a month (3 days a week)to achieve a mirror like finish, well worth it.

it took me 11 days
if you do it like 3 hrs everyday, it's faster than trying to rush it to one day like 24 hrs constant. i rubbbbbbbbbbed and sanded for like 41 hrs to get my engine mirror shined like butter! plus it's much more worth your money then to send it out. plus you need a lot of patients or else you will start ****ing things up royally.
anthony showed me what wonders i can do with my hands when you are left alone with your car at night!
