No resonator? You do know you are going to be obnoxiously loud, right? Having alot of noise gets old real quick. Just my opinion. I just got my exhaust done with a 2.25" resonated stainless b-pipe and a Bullet Turbo muffler and a 4" tip, sound very nice and NOT loud.

Hey boys, I just got my exhaust replaced a week ago, with the standard 2.25" pipe, should I have gone with 2.5"? What would going with the 2.5" give me over the 2.25"? More flow? More noise? I don't have a y-pipe, just a resonated custom bent B-pipe and a Bullet Turbo muffler.

more flow....might be a little louder...but mostly better flow and .25" does make a difference

if your mufflers inlet is only 2.25 then 2.5 inch pipe will do nothing for you...id rather have a 2.25 pipe starting at the Y pipe and going to the muffler. seems like it would make for a much smoother flow to me. i used to have a 2.5 inch b pipe with a stock muffler and cattman y and lost some low end. went to a custom b pipe 2.25 with a 2k2 muffler and noticed a huge difference especially in the low end and the top end even feels better

Its going to be LOUD. I have a Flowmaster 80 series and I ran it without a resonator for a while until I got sick and tired of the droning and raspiness. I finally put one on. I hope your not refusing to put a resonator because you think its going to rob horsepower. A good perforated core type resonator will not.
