adjusting clutch pedal

adjusting the clutch so that it's not ssuch a long travel from open to close is possible right? i know theres the bolt above the clutch inside the car, but if i set this around so that the clutch pedal is lower...does that mean that i could be leaveing my cluth half open all the time? i guess theres something else to set too?

There's a little adjustment **** on top of the pedal, at least I had one in my 91 my current car is an auto.

You can adjust the pedal height with that little ****. Just loosen the nut, turn the thing whichever way works, and tighten it up
