cruise control doesnt work

after getting new engine put in
cruise control stop working

what should i be looking for?

check if you have any codes.
things to look at.

TPS
VSS
MAF
IACV

cruise usually wont engage until after 25 mph, so if your going slower, try it at a faster speed.
