Type II Spoiler or Stock

Ok so I just had my car painted... I'll put up pics tomorrow... But before I had it done I ended up breaking off my spoiler. Around me every place wants $175 for a spoiler and I can get a Type II for $200. But I don't know how much higher the Type II actually is than stock. Is it about the same height? I will probably get it if it is because then I have a new spoiler for 20 bucks more. If anyone who has them can chime in let me know how you like it. Thanks

Zach

Most people might say to go with the stock spoiler, but I say go with the Type X, if you have rims and a stillen kit. My Type X looks kinda awkward without the rim/kit combo, but I still like it and have no complaints.

I would go w/ stock, unless you have a kit. aand may I say, those pics of your car look hot! That's some serious detailing! Looks like a mirror

OK... First this is my thread I don't care about a poll I can look back and see what people think if I want a vote. And second I had already asked that in my first post.

it looks to be a bit higher, and yes, I like the Type X better myself. I'd get one, but then I'd have to drop the money on getting it painted too, and well, I'm not that big into cosmetics ($800 in audio + $800 in perfm/handling is enough for my car right now).

I have seen the Type X up close and the quality is horrible. The clear light leaks, the mold is off, and there are many ruff edges. $200 for the spoiler and another X amount in body work. No thanks. Pix of a fellow orger and me:

Thing is HUGE and not my cup O tea.

I also have an Erebuni OEM style spoiler that blows the craftsmanship out of the water. Stock is by far the best quality but not really worth it over a quality replacement such as the Erebuni.

I agree the Type 2 looks better. It is more agressive without being ridiculous.

hey i was only trying to help you out bro. im interested too. and polls just make things convenient and sometimes people forget to do it. so again didn't mean to step on your toes.

now my opinion is the pics of the stock and type 2/X side by side i def like the stock more for some reason. and i've never really liked the stock. so now im really torn. and im interested in those that have the type 2, if the quality is really that shoddy
