I dont think that anythings wrong with your car it has happened to me. The person that worked at the gas station said that the pump must be out of premium so she told me to move to the pump behind me and i filled up fine like i normally do.

Its the gas station.

Fortunately this happened to me one sunday morning before a road trip, it turned out that they didnt really adjust the level properly and I was getting waaay more gas that I should have been. So I Paid about $13 for a full tank of gas I was so happy.

yeah, if that happened to you, try a different pump or a different station.

I've never had that happen myself, though I have had the opposite happen, where a stupid pump didn't kick itself off and it sprayed gas all over my car (was cleaning my windshield). So you'd better believe I stand there and hold the pump the whole time now.

I get that problem while filling up my wife's car. I have to hold the nozzle at a certain angle so that escaping air can get out as I'm filling up. If I shove the nozzle in deep I get that click off almost right away.
