Bad gas leak, plz help to fix this up asap!! **pics**

So going from work today I felt really strong gasoline smell. Stoped on the side, open the hood while engile still running and see gas leaking pretty bad around the area of injector. I replaced that injector year ago and used original lower O-ring, and new upper O-ring. Is it likely that O-rings gave way, or is there any other possible source of leak??

I need car running asap, please help guys to figure this out!

Thanks!!

if it is leaking around just the one fuel injector, that oring would be the first thing that I would check. They are under quite a bit of pressure and can give out. Also, check the hose around it, and see if it is cracked/worn out, check the clamp that holds it in, place, etc.

Thanks for the tip. I did not think of that. I'll check that too. Just got back from Nissan dealer. Got some O-rings.

The guy at parts said that a proper way to replace injector is to take the whole fuel rail off. Is that right, or is it really necessary. When I replaced injector about a year ago I just popped the bad one out and put new one in. Maybe because I did it this way it leaks now....

Well, untill it got dark, I proceeded and remeved airbox, EGR valve, unpluged main harness. I though maybe since I am going to lift upper intake plenum, it would be wise to put new gasket there.

Will get up tomorrow morning to disassamble more, hopefully will lift intake plenum and could be done tomorrow night after work, if it is O-rings only..
