Several Problems

I have two problems that I'm not sure whether the Max is normally like that or is it a bit messed up.

1) The other day I was exiting a parking lot at about 5mph. It's one of those parking lots that have a steep slope when exiting to the road. When I exited, I heard a spring sort of sound as if something hit my car's under. When I stopped and looked at it nothing was hanging down but it seemed like in the back half of the bottom of the car, something was dropped about .5 to 1 inch lower than the rest of the parts. Is that normal? Is that thing that is dropped down supposed to be some protection for the parts under the car?

2) Whenever I turn my steering wheel all the way to the right or to the left, if I don't realize that that is the furthest the steering wheel goes I tend to 'hit' the end a little hard and the car tends to produce a 'bunk' noise. I noticed that on my mom's honda it doesn't do that and instead the steering wheel just stops. Is my Max normal?

Not sure about #1, some pictures would definitely help in that department. #2 seems normal to me...when you turn the steering wheel all the way to the left or right you'll feel/hear a sound when it reaches the end of its' turning radius.

holy crap resize those pics

I don't see anything out of the ordinary... but you cant tell much from the pics. Are you talking about the heat shield that goes over the exhaust? I took that off when I got my catback/y pipe...
