s techs but what shocks

s techs but what shocks

what up peoples! i just bought a set of tein s tech springs but i wont put them on until i get new shocks and struts. but which ones will go good with the s tech with a 2.2 front and 1.8 rear drop? i was thinking tokico hp's the illumina's alittle pricey right now. any input or info

You'll blow the HPs in very short order. Illuminas are your best bet but even they won't stand up to that extreme of a drop indefinitely. If you want a severe drop without the issue of blowing struts, I'd suggest you sell the s-techs and get coilovers.

GR2s are inferior to Illuminas in terms of ride quality and longevity. You'll blow them too very quickly with s-techs. Save up more money and buy the Illuminas. When you mod your car, don't be cheap because you'll regret it everytime you drive it.

i've had S.tech's and GR-2's for a year no and have experienced no decline in ride quality

wouldn't waste the money on the tokico blues, but try the GR-2's and see how you like them

i have the s-techs with the illuminas and they provide a decent ride and so far are holding up pretty well after 6 months.
