need help on tire pressure for 235/45/17
hey guys, i need some help... i recently got 17x7 rims and added 235/45/17 tires on them..so hard to put on but anyways, i need to know how much PSI i should put on the tire thanks!

this is a very touchy question, it all depends on what you want to do with your car...if you are all about handling...put more pressure in...I have the same size and I run 35 cold all the way around...make sure when you measure your pressures you are doing it off absolutely "cold" readings...the extra pressure makes the sidewalls stiffer for less "rollover" additionally, tire pressures affect contact patches, if you want straight line traction (for launching and such if you drag) you put in a lot less in front and more in the rear...32 all the way around is a good number, but I would experiment with a little more and see how you like it...certainly for street driving don't go any less...
