funny story

in retrospect its funny...
damn passenger side window has been broken for a few weeks.
about a year ago someone hit my car and drove off, passenger door was all F'ed up. took it to the body shop and had the door replaced ($900). so anyways, i decide to pull the door panel off today cause i forgot and rolled the window down and couldnt get it back up. get in there and there are screws EVERYWHERE!!! i figure out what goes where bolt that somm***** back together and come to find out the damn window still gets stuck. at this point im dirty as hell and have cut my hands up from trying to mess with the regulator and my little sister looks at the window and is like "maybe this is why..." turns out the whole time the weatherstripping was bunched up and the motor couldn't push it back up so she grabs a screwdriver and pops it out. a self tought mechanic schooled by his little sister...
what a cool feeling.

Why? I remember working on my car, trying to find the TB stop screw after cleaning my TB so I can adjust my idle, and my girlfriend happened to just see the other screw I had to adjust, the black IACV screw. Ahh well, I couldn't find the stop screw, so I ended up just unscrewing that bad boy until my idle was down. Yea, she told a lot of people at school, kind of embarassing, but not too bad.

There's never been a truer statement... At the time, I'd rather do that then have my car run high still.

You are so right about that. Leave it to a 5 year old to make you feel an inch tall.
