jwt+udp and some thoughts

i got my ecu back from jwt(i had some problems, as some of u might have read) but thats all fixed now. Just yesterday i installed the ur udp and had a whole engine check up cause im real close to the 200k club. The car is much much faster than it was and according to my friends sounds "meaner"(for whatever thats worth ) Much faster meaning my car would pull but then lose power at top end and after it shifted would jus be crapy and jus i dont know suck. But now the car pulls alway to redline and still pulls after shifting....wich is always fun
Im an auto wich sucks but i tried out the extended rev and deff. was up to 7500 and i dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing cause it was only spose to be 7000.
One other thing that i like is i now beat cars around here that a use to lose to...but still the max is not fast enough I guess i jus really want to go SC.
Anyway thumbs up on the udp and double thumbs up on the ecu!
if u have any questions about them jus post and i'll answer

If you have a stock manifold their is NO reason for you to take the car any higher then 6500.
The extended REV limiter does nothing for the US manifold.
Keep on taking it up to 7500 and you will not have to worry about the 300k mark.

200k on the stock springs...reving to 7500....replace those quick or your not going to be reving your max much longer...

With the stock intake manifold, your power peaks at 5400-5600rpm and then drops off a cliff. Regardless if you have the JWT ECU or not, the peak power rpm stays the same. Once the rpms approach 6500rpms, the stock manifold causes a loss of 30% of it's power compared to peak. At 7500rpms, I'd venture to say 50% of the power is lost. Simply put, revving above 6300rpms with a stock manifold is both worthless and slower than shifting at 5800-6300rpms, depending on gear. Ideal shift points are typically 100-600rpms after peak power, gear dependant.

Just because it revs to 7500rpms, doesn't mean the car is making any worth while acceleration.
