Just had to replace my 5 speed tranny at 96,xxx miles. Had tranny fluid always coming out and no one could seem to fix it for good, so I got a used one.

i have an amazing 38,xxx miles on my original tranny! oh my!

 

I've got a 184,000 miles on the original tranny and clutch. I've just begun to have problems I have a tranny leak and the only way to fix it is to rebuild it.

 

Seeing as you have a different kind of 5 spd. tranny, you know, one with LSD, I'm not sure that the diff. bearing problems even apply to you.
Anyway, 136xxx on the clock, tranny replaced at 134xxx.

104k, Had a leak on the drivers side cv entrance seal. Sometimes in 1st gear I can hear a whinning noise but thats if I go into 1st gear but only if I downshift into 1st and the rpms go up quickly. Yeah my tranny has problems when My car is warming up from start up, when I press the clutch all the way down this noise goes away and all I can hear is my engine, when I dont press on the clutch I can hear this humming noise. Yeah my car gots all sorts of problems. Im sick of it. I can't wait to move on to something better.

 

I have 57,450 mostly highway miles. I have a slight leak coming from the left tranny seal which I am monitoring. I believe my car has LSD as its for the Canadian market. Is the incidence of differential bearing problems lower or virtually non-existent for Canadian cars? Is the slight leak in the tranny seal a cause for concern, ie. something I should rush out and fix tomorrow?

 

256k......... i to replace clutch 3 times, mostly for going to the track, KS twice, and i think my TB sensor is going bad ..... other then that the car is running good

 

165,000 and still pulling hard with never any major problems...gotta love the max!
