Engine Stalls at low speed/stops

SOS guys! my 97 maxima has stalling (frequent but inconsistently) when driving to a stop or at very low speed in traffic, and after engine has already warmed up. the check engine light also has been turning on (and off after some time), and the trouble code pointing to MAF.

i've brought the car to two shops but when they tested the MAF and circuit, the engine wasn't stalling. so when they tested the MAF, it was good. i just got a used MAF from a good recycler today. BUT, i still experienced engine stalling just after installing the 'new' MAF. my check engine light is off though. although it's possible that the MAF i got is also faulty, but i think that the possibility that the MAF isn't problem is rather greater.

i've read a thread mentioning similar engine stalling linked to TPS and how to adjust it if TPS is not faulty. is it possible that while trouble code points to MAF, the TPS is the one faulty or needs adjusting? i've also read a TSB on EGI harness breakage. is this also a possibility causing MAF circuit fault?

please help. THANKS!

Clean your throttle body.
Takes 10 minutes, costs 5 bucks for a can of cleaner. If that doesn't work, then start troubleshooting.
