Fog light problem

Hey my 97 Max has that fog light problem where the passenger side light goes out after a few days of use. I've seen other maxima's around town with the same problem where the driver side always comes on but the passenger side is always out. I've replaced the bulb a couple of times and it would work for a few days but after that it would go out. Any idea on how to fix this problem because I would like to get some hyper whites for my fog lights but I need to get this problem fixed first.

thanks

I have the same problem you have also! my passenger fog light has already gone through 4 different bulbs. I never run over-wattage bulbs. Right now, I'm using OEM sylvania bulbs (look like crap) but I'm hoping they don't burn out. The other bulbs were all Ebay hyper-white variants.

I did do the fog-light re-wire trick and made my fogs independant of the headlight controls. They are wired into the corners. I've checked my work, and it looks fine. I've also checked the fog light fuse - also fine. I'm beginning to think it's the relay now. I switched one of the relays for the horn with the fogs, so we'll see I guess. Yea this has me stumped too.
