TSB's - Ignition coils for 1999 Max

Does anyone know of a TSB for the commonly-known / faulty ignition coils that fail on the 1999 Maxima? I'm launching a civil suit against Nissan about this. Just about killed my wife at an intersection last week as the car hesitated during a busy interestion. Turns out my coils are bad - 3 months after my 99 came off warranty.

You can check the TSB's in the stickies. Good luck with the lawsuit but I don't think you will get anywhere. Your probably better off starting a class action lawsuit but even then, I don't know if you'll get enough people

I don't think you will get anywhere either especially now that the new bill has been passed making it harder to sue large companies.

When you buy new one's, make sure they are the Mitsubishi coils.

I just purchased a coil from www.buynissanparts.com I tried to order the Mitsubishi coil. From what they told me, there was a national shortage of Mitsubishi coils. They sell them for $59 + shipping ea.

Uh....ok, you go girl.

What a panty waste you are dude. You're actually going to sue a company for a mechanical part going bad 5-6 years after you purchased it? It's boo hoo attitudes like this that make this country suck imho.

I think I'm going to file a civil suit against everyone for making life so hard. It's everyone else's responsibility to make my life easier, safer and guaranteed.

Sorry if I don't join your pity party. :P

it could be to raise awareness on the subject, i agree that america has gotten more sue-happy, but try having a product malfunction and almost cause the death of a loved one. If you think this country sucks, leave. You don't have to live here, you know.
