rear spoiler removal

i was planning on getting rid of the rear spoiler. thing is i'm gonna have drive around with two holes in my trunk... which i really dont want to do! any ideas as to how i can fill the holes up or do i have to goto a body shop for getting it done?

YOu would probably want a body shop to do this are what you would fill the holes with probably won't be the color of your car and would need to be painted anyway. . . I am sure filling the holes wouldn't be as expensive as getting the fills repainted. Oh and you will have 6 holes total. 2 on the ouside edges, where the mushroom clips things are, and then 4 smaller ones where the the bolts on the spoiler go through the trunk under the middle pillars.

No. You can actually make some money on this one.
Find someone who has the same color gxe or gle and trade trunk lids with them.

well when i got the car, the guy who had it earlier had the spoiler and the stock SE rims on the car... hence all the trouble

To do it right, you would have to weld a piece of metal underneath, bondo, sand and repaint... that's what would be hard, getting it to blend, two sets of holes are right on the edge of the lid, you would have to fade into the fender, you are in for a lot of work.
Unless you have the dough, have it done, or... simplest trade you lid with someone....
