Anniversary Edition like the 2k1, the headlights are painted black around the edges where the headlights dont reflect from.

Yes you can paint them yourself. Your not going to find them anywhere unless someone is selling a set they painted.

I might be doing mine this weekend if I have enough time. I will be doing the headlights and corner lights as well.

Painted some 97 headlights about 2 weeks ago and finally clean off the cover with Mother's polish and Plexus plastic cleaner. Put the headlight back together today and I'll probably put it on my car tomorrow. Still need to do the corners though

No. Read the stickies. Even if they really were Bronze tinted, I think just about every damn Max owner was told and believes otherwise. We all know it as black around the edges, ie.

If you've ever read the spec sheet on a 01 SE AE, they state that it has bronze-tinted headlights

"To celebrate the Maxima's 20th anniversary, Nissan tarted up a 2001 SE model with exclusive features such as ground effects around the lower body perimeter, bronze-tinted headlights, drilled aluminum pedals, aluminum gearshift **** and the obligatory (though discreet) 20th anniversary badging, floor mats and key. This lily is gilded further with the addition of a moonroof, power driver seat, 17-inch wheels/tires and auto-dimming rear view mirror."

And yes, I do understand that the majority of the Maxima/I30 community thinks that blacked out headlamps are AE style, I wasn't born yesterday

this really clear up my question, i was thinking black out as AE, so do we have to put the headlight in oven to melt the glue or can we use something else?
