slipping!!!! HELP????

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a 95 max
in the last week or two the tranny is slipping (AUTO BY THE WAY).
I took it to a mechanic and he says that its not the tranny, he also put the car on the scanner and nothing pops up.(TRANNY FLUID IS FINE, CHANGING GEARS IS FINE).
About one month ago i change the speedometer guages from 95 to 97.
The black needles to the orange ones.
I'VE also notice that when i give it gas the needle for the MPH does not move until i get to about 20 MPH.
And the car slips when i'm coming to a stop (UNDER 20MPH).
I tried to do something with the old speedometer and broke it
This s##t is making me stress could this me the problem or is it something else maybe. Need help quick
PS
I switch speedometer on my old max before 96 to 97 and nothing happen.

How could the mechinic check the gear changes from a scanner?

A slipping tranny will end needing to be rebuilt or replaced, some have tried a fluid flush to help extend the life but if its slipping in deed you'll eventually need to replace. As for the speedo issue I dont know what to say except the obvious, something is messed up in there, not sure how you could diagnose and/or fix. Might need the stearlership for that one
