new to the forum. I just bought a 1997 maxima with a/t that had a starter meltdown and burned the wiring harness (right side of the engine). Car was too good to junk. So I went to a junk yard to replace the engine wiring harness. No exact match as to year. I think I used a 1996 ? Different color codes etc.

Good news I got the car running. But get a tourge converter clutch code and a Knock Sensor code. Car drives fine ???

Anyone have a color code wiring diagram for my 1997 Maxima (Automatic) The transmission 8 pin f-42 brown connector (only uses 7 pins) has different colors on the male/female ends from the one I got from the junk yard?

Can't pass inspection because it throws the check engine light on ???
