high idle

high idle

hey, what were the main causes for high idle? i remember seeing it a while ago, but it didnt concern me so I paid no attention...

yea, all good points. Here's the recent stuff:

cleaned tb
sea foam
adjust throttle line (not too far)

I dunno what my next step should be...

a32-ec.pdf page 35, there is a procedure how to adjust idle speed.

I doubt your idle screw is off if you have not screwed with it. I had a smiliar problem when I tightened my throttle cable....make sure the little peg on the bottom of....I don't know what to call it but the part where the cable hooks (cable holder), make sure that touches the metal when you are at idle. Also a vacuum leak will cause a high idle. Good luck.
