Is there any diff in the 95 and 96 max's?

I owned a new '95 then I bought a new '96. There were no exterior differences I could see but the interior in the '96 had a divider in the cup holder (which I removed because it made it harder to put drinks in it) and also got a cup holder in the center console. Not much of a difference really.

Heres whats different!
In 96 the front passenger seat was powered! Thats right but only on the ones that had power seats as a option. As for emissions? I've never heard of any differences there. BTW there was a new color produced in 96.

humm, all i know is 96 uses a Map/baro sensor while the 95 doesnt. i know for like the blue colors, one year they used Neptune blue and one year they used Starfire blue...dunno what else
How about mechanical problems?..
95s had a common failure of the O2 sensors, which were recalled, also aren't the starters notorious for failing? Just wondering...
anyone know if these things were fixed with the 96s?

Early '95s weren't completely OBD-II compliant. The later ones and the '96s were. The really dark color on the '95s was Black Emerald, paint code DJ2. The GLEs for both '95 and '96 came with really ugly wheels that had a rhombus pattern on it.

I've heard some interesting things in this thread.
My Max is a 96 SE, however I 1) don't have a power passenger seat, although my driver's seat is power (8-way adjustable or whatever it is) and 2) my paint is very dark green, everyone thinks the car is black, but when it's very clean in very bright sunlight, you can tell it's green.
I do have the cup holder with the divider and the big cup holder inside the center console.

I was looking at CourtesyParts.com and found 3 different colors available for the 95-96 cup holders : 68430-A32B003 Beige, 68430-A32B001 Black, & 68430-A32B002 Serene. What color is Serene? Does anyone have any pics? I'm pretty sure my tan interior would take the Beige, but I was just curious what color is Serene. Thanks!

And you seriously think that's an excuse to post in an 8 year old thread?
Use the damn newbie thread if you want to ask a question, that's what it's there for.

I'd have to guess gray.
