in D and off the brake when rolling, my entire car shakes like no other. even in neutral theres a hint of a shaking feeling. also when braking to a slow crawl it shakes. ive asked a couple friends, some think its the engine mounts, spark plugs, or transmission. also when i listen to the exhaust, it sounds like a sputtering sound. dunno if that associates with the problem. anybody know what it could be? any help would be appreciated thanks. its getting really annoying.

 

if i had to guess, i would say its either you MAF sensor, bad coil packs, some other kind of sensor. i seriously doubt any of the above is damaged.. whens the last time you had the fuel filter changed?

 

oh i have no clue when the last time the fuel filter was changed. how much do those go for from the dealer and is it a DIY job? im gonna have to do a full tune-up when i get the chance also.
my MAF is fine, and i have no cel.

 

When I had my '92 NX2000, I had an engine mount problem. There is a way to test it though, but I forgot. You may want to search the www.SR20DE.net site.

For mine, everytime I step on the gas, especially the first gear, the car shake like crazy.

 

When were the spark plugs and the gas filter last changed on this car. I have this problem before and it was 1 of my spark plug coils.

 

i guess my best try is to change fuel filter and spark plugs and then see if the problem goes away because i really do not know when the last time these things were changed. damn car is giving me too many problems...

 

when i accelerate, the car feels normal. its just under neutral or when im off the brake at a stop the car shakes. sometimes at low rpm when im cruising (4th gear @ ~40mph) i can feel it shake. i just keep it in 3rd so i dont have to feel it...
