I have it... why are you going to spend that much money? Do what I did, get the muffler and have a muffler shop weld it for you... I got it done for $200.

Aren't that many "true" dual exhaust cars out nowadays . The Last F-car isn't "true" dual exhaust-not to many pony car owners mind or care. Same here.

I'd like to see you split the Y pipe and run 2 pipes in the tunnel without rubbing. Words can only go so far.

All this talk about "true" dual exhaust is getting super queer. I'd love to have it just for looks. What's the most a "true" dual exhaust will give you anyway, an extra 1-2HP? Good for carrying extra groceries, I guess.

It is interesting, because the 4th gen is a 10 1/2 yr old car. Is dual exhaust going to make it look modern, true or fake? the only thing that can be certain is that it costs $$$ that is not well spent. It's like an old man who thinks he looks good for his age so he has an unrealistic view of how young chicks see him. He thinks he's da bomb while girls think he is gey!

If you do think it looks good, then just pull a Poncho G6, Murano, 350Z. that's about as fake as it gets! But see it from the mfg's point of view--they didn't spend money on the y-pipe or extra muffler.

I truly, honestly believe that my 8 year old Maxima really, really does look better than, at the very least, 85-90% of the cars in the road today. This includes, but is not limited to, 2005 models as well. Every day I get out of my car, I stop for a few seconds, and admire what Nissan engineers have concocted for me. It is a beautiful, timeless car. Every penny I put into it is money wisely spent, in my eyes. If some freak law passed tomorrow stating that "mods" were illegal, I wouldn't feel as if my car was no longer beautiful, but rather feel good that even without all my modifications, my car still owns most every damn car in the streets. I love my Maxima.

the cm dual exhaust was created on my car, its a flowmaster camaro crossflow muffler with piping about 250 in parts. My duals are slightly different now, but I love the sound, car sounds like a v8 stang

Look at every other car made or sold recently. No car with less than 200 Hp is eqipped with just a single exhaust. Including SUV's. A Maxima is a real performance car . It should, at least in my opinion, not have a single exhaust "tip" when 4-cylinder Mazda 6's and cardboard v6 Accords have dual exhausts. Insofar as having "true" dual exhaust, really, what's the difference? Even "IF" you could somehow shove another exhaust pipe beside the regular outlet, what would be the gain versus the added weight and expense? if ya look under the rear ends of most cars and SUV's , you won't find many "true dual exhausts". Me personally, I love the dual look, and what's gay is spending a a$$load of money on a heavy and ineffcent exhaust setup. And it looks perfectly natural, like its OEM on a Maxima from day 1 . No Max that can waste all other Japan,Inc. cookie-cutter cars should have less number of exhaust tips than the car your'e wasting.
