Sentra se-R Spec-V seats on 4th gen

I searched the how to's and google.com relentlessly. my question is: Is it possible to fit sentra se-R Spec-v Seats in a 4th gen maxima? If so, would you need certain brackets to fit them?

I'm sure you can get them to fit. Is there an easy kit? Probably not. Have you looked at what the rails from a maxima/sentra look like? How to do both mount? Is it close/not close???? Worst case, you can have some custom brackets made.

seems like the sentra's seat might be more narrower than the maxima's seats, if it fits, it might not look right.

more narrower huh? lol...

anyway, just compare the brackets... anything can be done with fabrication, do you have the money, the time, the experience to do it all plays into the count.

Can I ask where you got the seats? If you center the seats, it would look fine. But you might need to modify the brackets or see if the maxima brackets will fit the sentra seats or vice versa. Or a combo of both

Jeff: Ive been looking for a diagram for sentra/maxima brackets. So far, i've only found aftermarket brackets which im not too fond of. Going to review the maxima manual as there should be a diagram there. Ive been checking the seats out at car-part.com for as low as 400 for fronts and rears together.

Maximus: Most likely I'll keep the leather if I do the conversion to change when i feel. I like the look of the black/silver se-R seats, it provides a breath of fresh air. It would go excellent with a black/brushed aluminum interior, while maintaining a "it could've been factory" look.

I Haven't bought anything just yet, I've just been considering it because I like the idea and I haven't seen it done.

If anyone has any information on the width of the sentra se-r spec-v seats, please let me know.

yah the black sentra seats do look nice. If I were to ever change my cloth seats I would look into those. So if you can get this to work post it up, help some other ppl who might want to do this in the future.
