Parts Manual (Nissan Fast) on PhatG20.net

I've successfully downloaded the factory service manual and want to download the parts manual from the subject website.

There are 3 different versions listed:
Euro LHD
General LHD
Nissan FAST US 2003 (2 downloads)

I'm assuming I need one of the latter two. Which is the correct manual for a US version 1997 SE 5-speed?

Thanks-

I have the same problem with FAST and General LHD. Took me 2 or 3 tries to get the Factory Service Manual.

So, I have dial up, that sounds like for just the small one (140MB) it would take me over 4 days (100hrs). Is this program sold on cds with installation files? if so, where? Perhaps I could talk someone on here with a high speed connection to download them to cdrws and I could pay them to do that and send it via mail? If anyone is interested, please IM or email me. Thanks!

Anyone been able to download this correctly? Also, back to my original question to start this thread; which download is correct for a 1997 Maxima?

Nice. Hopefully when I get installed there will be a way to 'print' it to .PDF or something more easy to work with.

i just downloaded from that, but those are the fsm, not the FAST. I am running out of patience trying to download the FAST. I have downloaded it about a dozen times, and every time I try to open the program, it asks me which program to use to open it, and nothing works. WTF.

From what I can tell, its the same program that Nissan has that you can use to search all of the parts and part numbers for your max.

You burned the image? Please forgive me if I am insulting your intelligence, but you burn the ISO file with cd authoring software such as Nero, or Roxio, and then you launch FAST from the CD. You can also mount the image as a virtual CD-ROM drive using a program called 'Alcohol 120%', which is what I did.

LOL no I didn't just download the image. I downloaded both files..one was roughly 550mb and the second was 400 something. I have one file saved on one cd, and the second on another cd. The problem that I am having, is that when i attempt to open either one of the files, it asks me which program to use to open the file. My dvd program for some reason keeps popping up as the selected program, I am assuming because of the type of file.

Use DaemonTools to mount the images onto a virtual drive, or you can use ISOBuster to extract it's contents. I'd recommend mounting it through DaemonTools though, since it will auto-run as if you had burned it. After you install it, run the FAST configuration program and point to the virtual drive's letter. PM me if you need any help with any of these programs listed above. I have the full...<cough>...legal..versions of these programs, so...

I downloaded both of the images and burned them to cd (not the image files, but actually burned the cd that the image contained using nero). I've tried following the directons and tried coming up with my own way to do it, but things just keep messing up. Can one of you guys post exactly what to do from start to finish to make this program install and work. Thanks.

TITTMAX: Thank you for loaning out your password to phatg20. If nobody has sent you the CDs yet I would be happy to in return. Just let me know which files you want and give me an address to send them to. Emailing them would be as painful for you as downloading. PM me and I'll get them out to you. So far I have FSM FAST discs 1 and 2, and General LHD. I haven't installed the FAST yet so it is unverified but I will before I send it.

Anyone else, make me an offer.

It seems there's nothing there for the 1998's. Was it overlooked?

Ok, well after finally being on the brink of smashing my computer, I got the program to work. It seems that the first time that I had downloaded the file, it wasnt 100%complete, which wasnt allowing the setup program to run. Once I finally re downloaded the two files, it worked.

What is 'the program'? And where do we get it?

I have the two .iso FAST files, now what do I do?

Once you download the two files, there is a readme file that will explain everything that you have to do. There is also a setup.exe file that is in the disk one download, which will allow you to set the program up. The program that i am referring to, is the actual FAST program.
