VB mod question

Fellas, I am seriously thinking of doing the VB mod because my mechanic has a dead engine from a Maxima on his lot and told me I could have the core from that so I can send it in and have the modded VB sent to me without so much down time on my own car. The engine is from a '95 and I have a '98, so there should be no problem with this. My question is, where do you guys think is the best place, both price and reliability, to get a VB swap? I know Mobiltek has these, but they supposedly have been screwing some people over lately. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the input, Iced. I checked their web site and couldn't find a cost for the swap. Also, can they simply swap me for mine and ship it to me so my mechanic can install? Sorry for the 20 questions.

Whether its worth it or not is up to the consumer who purchases it. Alot of people who've done VB or TC mods swear by it and the regret rates are low.

yes ive been in a maxima with a vb mod, dam that car shifts so dam fast, but it really is kind of annoying to have your head jerk back and forth for everyday driving. then again its basically an insurance for your tranny, it clams to make your tranny to slip less therefore last longer
