My 99 has different coils from the 4th Gen standard?

Hey guys,

Take a look at this picture:



These coils from a guy on eBay has just one mounting hole, and the rear plugs on the top, while mine have two mounting holes in them (front and rear) and my rear plugs is in the front.

What kind of coils do need for my Maxima? Is my Maxima from a later date?

My 99 has the same as yours, two mounting holes and the plugs on the side. i dont think that it will make a diffrence...

My 99 also has 2 mounting bolts/holes and side plugs.

alright, they should be there any day, thought they would've made it up there by now

but the two i sent you look exactly like the ones on your car, w/ two places for screws

for half a year in 99 nissan made a SEL or the 99.5 SEL i believe it was tooled a little differentso that is why yours are different

So you think the Cali Spec engine is the one with differnt coils (2 bolts) from the rest of the 4th gens?

I have a 99.5 SEL CA-NLEV it has the strait ones with two mounting holes in back and the L shaped ones in the front also with two mounting holes...

i have a 99 SE-L fed spec, and a coil pack from a 96 fit fine, dun remember correctly, but im pretty sure two holes... dun remember..
