my cat is shot, im just gonna buy a straight/test pipe to replace it, will the 00-03 test pipes on ebay fit my application or do i need a 95-99 specific cat?

 

well if youre going to do test pipe i highly recommend doing at least the resonated 95-99 testpipe from ebay. i personally have had both and the non just adds that raspyness that is yucky. just look for a 95-99 specific one to be safe

 

how come you dont wanna get a stock cat and guarantee emissions?

 

get the custommaxima.com test pipe i have t and it sounds great

 

the ones on ebay aren't there right now no emissions testing in iowa custommaxima test pipe is too damn expensive

 

so is the pipe the same for 4th and 5th gens?

 

someones gotta know custommaxima has their pipe description saying for 97-03 max's so if someone wants to clue me in if its the same pipe or not that would be great
