It appears that the on-line selection Mopac has is limited. Perhaps you can buy one over the phone from them, but you will need a credit card I suspect. The most I get out of an OEM filter is 22,000 miles and change. They are supposed to be replaced @ 30K but I can't make it that far.

You are a piece of work aren't you, mrgreek? Of course it runs, its just dirty. A dirty OEM air filter adversely affects the fuel economy of the vehicle.
One reason people like the K&N air filter is that it performs better the dirtier it gets, up to about 50,000 miles when you clean and re-oil them and re-use them. I like the K&N air filter because it breathes better, providing better throttle response. I like how it performs with my Budget Y-pipe. I am not into noise and don't want to hack my airbox, get a CAI or popcharger etc.
I happen to like the K&N panel filter. There must be cheaper places to get them in Ontario than Canadian Tire. Why don't you use your daddy's credit card and get one from Mopac over the phone.
If you have any more inane questions to ask you might as well keep them rolling. I'm sure we'll hear them all in due course, lol! Just kidding. I don't know much but I have picked up a lot of useful information/knowledge since joing this website.
Keep up the good work, mrgreek, lol!

K&N Panel Filter, suprisingly it feel a lot better on take off with a panel filter over a hybrid filter setup... or just a filter with no piping. All I modified was the air box, I drilled five 1/4" inch holes into the airbox on the side closest to the outside of the car.

I use the cone style filter, airbox is too restrictive for me. I like the feel of the throttle with the cone style filter. Mine is actually a stillen filter, paid $75 bucks for it used but with a k&n recharge kit included. Have already cleaned it once and need to do it again soon.

1. Go on ebay
2. Buy a brand new K&N filter panel for our cars at $35 shipped
3. PM you
4. 99% chance sell it to you for $60. After all, you'd think you got yourself a killer deal. $20 off, eh?
5. End up making $20 on you, because say it cost me $5 to ship it.
Let this be a lesson to you.

In defence of mrgeek he was quoting Canadian dollars, which brings the Cdn$80 filter back to about US$66. US parts are expensive in Canada and not readily available for the Maxima. Like I said I got one locally last year for Cdn$48 plus tax.

I prefer the 'pancake' style K+N filter. It will give you the most horsepower gain (80+ HP). But it's pricey. It's about $3500 - but it does come with a free supercharger.

Take it from someone who has used K&N for 6 years. IT IS NOT WORTH IT.
Get yourself maybe a 3 or 4-pak of factory filters online, no tax, no shipping, 25% off list. They're only $7.40 each, about $9.01 CDN. Not sure what you mean by made in Israel, I believe the factory filters are USA made. Wait a sec, you don't qualify for free shipping, so add about $150 to ship the 3 filters.
