Remove the brakes, those things are way too heavy and you don't need them anyways.

There's way too much fluid in these cars. Never run your gas tank more than 1/4 full, use only 3 quarts of oil not 4, remove 1/2 the power steering fluid, transmission, fluid, brake fluid, and lastly radiator coolant. Oh, remove the back seats, they're useless.

Remove everything on the engine that is either belt or gear driven, AC Compressor, power steering pump, alternator, water pump, etc. This will get you a couple of ponies. The downside is that you will be hot, low speed turns will be a b1tch, the battery will run dead, and the motor will overheat. But definitely more power.

i used to always say, "the next best thing I can do to make my car faster is..." and my dad would always reply, "the next thing you should do to make your car faster is pull off the radiator cap and pull a corvette up under it and then screw it back on."

as far as taking stuff off the car to gain hp, you could always cut off as much as possibly from your exhaust, that would free up some horses. but as far as taking some weight off to quicken the car start with your spare tire jack etc., and your back (and maybe even passenger if your serious) seat. also alot of weight is overlooked in the wheels and tires. normally the factory wheels are pretty light but most of the time if your thinking of getting aftermarket 18's they will probably just end up being anchors to your car.

welcome to maxima.org, and by the way sarcasm is always the first language spoken here.

I didnt give you a stupid answer with the weight reducition site. There really isnt anything you can remove to gain horsepower that wont effect daily drivability. The best you could do is weight reduction, and thats even minimal w/o removing seats etc. You could remove the a/c compressor and by pass that, ~20-30lbs less and maybe a hp or 2 and same for the powersteering. You can remove the snorkel part of the intake and do the OSCAI, but thats about the closest you can get. You could get a y pipe, which removes the precats, but you have to buy something to lose something. Or you could get light rims and save a few pounds too.

That worked for me Friday night ;-). Actually it was the passenger seat, because then there was no steering wheel in the way.

Seriouslly what kind of answer did you think you were going to get? Something like "remove your backseat and gain 15hp!"? Everyone gave you the answers, including a website, and you say they are stupid now?
