headlight problem

I drove my car around a little tonight, and my headlight flickered a little before going out completely. But later on that night I found out my high beam on that light works but the low beam doesn't.
Anyone know the problem?

Thanks

because it is illegal to drive around with highbeams and annoying as hell, and the reason your high beam works and not the low is because you have a filimant for each beam, your low beam just got old and burned out, hince why you need to get a new bulb, the reason your high beam works is cuz you hardly ever use it.

There is your reason right there lol, aftermarket means crap *** headlights, they will do whatever it takes to bring down the cost, hince why your headlight just went out already.

Do you have upgraded harnesses? If you cut your old harnesses out and installed new ones using butt connectors and electrical tape your low beam wire may have just gotten disconnected. If not then either your harness melted or it's the bulb. Pull the bulb out and make sure both filaments are intact

I don't see why you wouldn't have just bought some new damn bulbs, I would love to beat people up that think running with high beams is ok because their low beams died out. It's not like they are insanely expensive for even decent ones........ But yeah since they are aftermarket headlights check out the harness and replace if needed and don't blind other people with your brights because you don't want to fork over $20 for semi-decent bulbs (I'm pretty sure if someone crashes into you because they were blinded by your brights at night they can claim the accident soley on you).

Like previously said the bulb has 2 filaments. Just cause you just had them maybe a few months doesn't mean they can't blow, why do you think eBay is even in business? Can I get a witness from those who have replaced super white 9004s/h3s so much you just gave up on replacing them......?
