300zx BBK Complete!!!

After long hrs of hard work with trial and errors, finally Richard (Mr****s_95se) and myself were able to complete this job! It was frustrating at times but in the end, it was all worth it!

My Maxima brakes wayyyy better now!!! I feel so much safer in braking that instead of worrying about myself rear-ending someone, now im worried that someone will rear end me instead.
Well here are some pics of the BBK and thanx for all those who answered any of the questions that i had while installing these!

what kind of paint did you use on your brakes? Did it ever fade before because of the heat?

If you have another 10mm of clearance inbetween the caliper/wheel spoke, you can upgrade to the 13" cobra rotors at any time. I have the brackets in stock if you want them

The 13" cobra setup with your brackets won't clear a 300zx rim will it?

1. Whats the alternative to 13" cobra rotors?

2. With Jeffs bracket can I go bigger than 13" or do I have to make my own?

3. Does anyone have pictures comparing the two 11" to 13" . Is 13" big enough or can I go bigger I want to fill up my 18" s ?

Wait I just thaught about it if I get anything bigger than 13" then I wont be able to throw on my 17" drags when I hit the track. Or I can just simply swap them out to factory cals, to much hassle forget the whole Idea. But does anyone have 18" s with ZX cals I would like to campare them to 17' s.?

No you can't go bigger than 13" with the brackets, besides that's huge! Check Jeff92se home page

My brackets ONLY allow for a 13" Cobra rotor. 17" rims are the bare min for diameter. Width is the killer. The 300z calipers are very wide because they are 4 piston calipers.

So although the 17" maxima wheels are BIG enough. They don't allow nearly the room width-wise to clear the spokes. Your best best for oem nissan wheels are some of the G35 or 350z wheels.

either way....who cares if the rotor will fill the whole, as long as you can stop in time its all worth it.
