[SIZE=4]I JUST REPLACED THE KS AND HARNESS..AND WHEN I CHECK THE ECU IM GETTING 5 5.....NO PROBLEMS DETECTED...THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE NOW IS THAT THE IDLE IS VERY LOW..500RPM AT START AND WHEN IN PARK AND DRIVE...DOES THE ECU NEED TIME TO REPROGRAM AND RETIME OR IS SOMETHING WRONG?...THANKS FOR ANY HELP

 

first take off the caps, the reason this is happening is becasue you didnt turn the ecu screw all the way. reset the ecu again until it the idle raises back up

 

haha thats funny because i jus replaced my KS and my idle went from 700(normal) to 1500. dont know why but once i start driving around the idle goes back to normal.

 

this is some weird ****....it lags a little and then is fine in the higher rpm ranges...if anyone can help..

 

When in doubt, change spark plugs/check coils, clean throttle body and seafoam.

 

Isn't 550 rpm about right for idle?

 

maybe for a manual, but for automatic it is 750ish. ALSO how do you check your coil packs?*-
