I've been seeing members on here that have Aftermarket headers on thier Maximas. My question is..Do they offer better HP? I think there was a tread a good while ago that showed a dyno chart of a before and after with stock and aftermarket headers. As I recall it wasn't much gain whats so ever. I think it was like 5hp if that. Or was I reading the tread wrong. Is this something that if your boosted you'll notice dramatic differences? I like the looks of them, but price and installation wise is it really worth it?

Isn't it better to just insulate your exhaust system by wrapping it with some high temperature material?

better hp n/a: no, not enough to walk around with your chest poked out !

 

from what i undertstand u get about a 5hp gain over a y pipe, for 500 bux 5hp isnt worth it.........
