I have a 96 se and today I rolled the windows down with the keyless entry unlock button and when I went to roll them up the pass. side wouldn't work and neither would the rear windows from any switch. the only working window is the driverside. Anyone have this problem or know what it is? please help its getting hot in MO.

 

if when u r trying to roll it down u still hear the motor noise, then it's the regulator, if u dont hear no noise, is both. u might need a replacement from either one or both. same thing here on all 4 windows.

 

Dang, that would be really bad luck if three of them decide to give out at the same time.

 

my 3rd gen's power windows always messed up..do maximas have bad window motors or something?

 

Yea I have a power window problem. The passenger side does not work and now the door lock on the drivers side does not lock other doors. The dealer told me it is the LAN module that went out. At the dealer it cost $1000 dollars to install.

Hope that is not your problem too. They said it is a freak thing. That the module that controls the doors and windows goes out instead of just the window motor.
Still trying to find one cheaper. The dealer said it is behind the dashboard on the passenger side.

 

Probably your lock button is down. Nothing will work but the drivers window. That would be why you are a newbie.
