97 engine

New to the 4th gen family from the 3rd gen family....
and I was curious to know and confirm, if the light ticking sound that comes from the motor is normal... it sounds like if it is the injectors doing their duty...
also, when you puch the clutch in and you rev the motor, it sounds like it if the tick gets a bit louder and like the reaction from the time that I rev to the motor reacts is delayed a bit... or am I being a lady about this....

if anyone lives in the Flushing Queens, help out a fellow org member and let me know what you think... thanks...

What type of oil are you using? I use 5w30 during the winter, which causes my car to make that ticking sound. During the warmer times of the year, i go to 10w30 and the ticking seems to go away. That may be one cause.

And check the throttle cable for slack and your ECU for codes.
